This is a Japanese bonzai of some kind, with unusual pale blue stripes in its bark, and tiny pink buds bearing spring green leaves.
An untouched photograph of some rather vibrant fungi on a rainy afternoon. Like rocks at the seashore, a bit of water really brings out their color!
Clouds can be so beautiful ~ especially when they dance with the crisp cold air.
I never tire of seeing the leaves turn from green to red. I’ll miss them when they’ve all fallen.
Delicate buds are hitting their stride.
Bits of lichen hang out on an apple tree branch as winter trudges on. Hopefully animals are snacking on little morsels like these, that are still available for them this time of year.
Pears are so cute ~ this one drew my eye, with a touch of highlight grazing its side. Possibly the best-shaped fruit out there, and the flavor is one of my favorites.
